Tomasz Kołodziejczak is a writer, screenwriter, publisher and publicist. He made his debut in 1985, since then he has published 6 novels and several dozen short stories. He also created board and computer games, comic book scripts, poetry, and journalistic texts.
Repeatedly nominated for the Janusz Zajdel’s award, he won it for his novel “Colors of Banners”. He is also a laureate of other awards for publishing and promotion activities (including the Papcio Chmiel award and the Janusz Christa award for promoting comics in Poland). In 2013, he was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit medal for his contribution to the development of culture and for preserving the memory of the recent history of Poland.
His novels and short stories have been translated into English, Czech, Lithuanian, Russian and Ukrainian.
Since 1995, he has been professionally associated with the Egmont Polska publishing house, where he ran magazines such as “Donald Duck” and “Witch”. For twenty years there, he has been managing the imprint “Świat Komiksu Club”, which publishes the world’s most popular comics.
