Yu Joey (computer games / Shanghai, China)

Joey Yu is an award-winning novelist and script writer for comics and games, for example for League of Legends, but also animation. In 2018, he won the prestigious Terran Award founded by the creator of one of the most popular fantasy series in the world, George R. R. Martin. Joey’s job knows no bounds! He cooperates with professionals from many fields, creates projects that end in spectacular success. As he says himself: communication is extremely important to him and it is thanks to teamwork that everyone can show their true potential.

Joey Yu has published many fantasy and science fiction novels. He has worked on various projects, including – as a narrative director – on the creation of the “Void of Light” universe. In his work, he is not limited to one field of art. He uses his abilities in games, comics and animations.

One of his greatest projects in the world of computer games is creating stories for characters from the leading esports game League of Legends. While working with Riot Games, he had the opportunity to write “The Bow, and the Kunai” and “Between Light and Darkness”. He also worked with Tencent Games taking an active part in creating amazing games.

Joey takes all his projects very seriously and is therefore successful. It was no different in the world of animation. He is currently working with two large gaming corporations on animation projects, he has written a script for a full-length film based on “Aotu World”.

In the comics field, Joey Yu worked on “Split Earth Saga”, (add to the link page!), Which was a huge success on Kickstarter. In addition, he took part in the creation of many smaller projects.
